Police have arrested two people, including a doctor from Kamath Nursing Home, Udupi, in connection with illegally selling an infant child.
The arrested are Dr. Surendra of Kamath Nursing Home and Prakash, a resident of Nejaru, Malpe.
It is alleged that a newborn baby from Subrahmanya Nagar had been sold to a person named Prakash.
Police from the Udupi Women's Police Station, who investigated the case, stated that the arrests were made based on available evidence.
